Occam Places CFO for Prominent Swiss Biotech Alentis

In August 2024, Occam Global placed Jonathan Freve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Alentis Therapeutics, a Jeito Capital, Novo Holdings, RA Capital, Bpifrance, and Schroders Capital investment.
Jon brings to Alentis over 20 years of financial experience in increasingly senior roles in the biotechnology sector. Most recently, he served as the CFO of Galecto, where he was responsible for leading financial operations, investor relations, and fundraising efforts. Before his role at Galecto, Jon was the CFO of Spring Bank Pharmaceuticals and held Corporate Controller positions at other publicly traded global companies.
Jon is a CPA who has worked on several successful initial public offerings, secondary offerings, mergers, and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
