Occam Recruits Commercial Leader for CytoReason
In September 2026, Occam Global placed David Walker as Vice President of Business Development and Sales at CytoReason. The company has raised more than $130 million to date, and five of the world's top ten pharmaceutical companies use its robust technology platform.
Walker brings two decades of commercial leadership at the intersection of AI, data, and pharmaceutical R&D. He most recently served as VP of Strategic Partnerships & Client Services at Genomics, and previously held senior commercial roles at Quantori and Capgemini Engineering.
Walker received an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Nottingham, a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Cranfield University, and an MBA from the Open University.
