Occam Places CCO at Constructive Bio

In October 2026, Occam Global placed Feroze (Fez) Ujjainwalla, PhD, as Chief Commercial Officer of Constructive Bio, a Series A Cambridge UK based synthetic biology company using whole genome writing and genetic code reprogramming to create the next generation of biologic drugs.

Fez brings more than 25 years of experience in drug discovery and business development. He most recently served as Chief Business Officer of Terray Therapeutics, an AI-driven small molecule discovery company. Before that, he spent two decades at Merck, rising from research chemist to Executive Director of Chemistry before moving into business development and licensing, where he led platform and partnership deals including DNA-encoded library and mRNA display technologies.

He holds a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Imperial College London, and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Texas at Austin.
