Occam Global Recruits Commercial Leader to Bexorg
In July 2026, Occam Global placed Cole Zimmerman, PhD, as Senior Vice President of Commercial at Bexorg, a biotech company spun out of Yale University and founded by neuroscientists Dr. Zvonimir Vrselja and Dr. Nenad Sestan, developing an AI-powered whole-human brain platform to transform the discovery and development of therapeutics for neurological diseases.
Cole brings extensive experience building markets and commercial organizations for emerging life sciences technologies. He joins Bexorg to lead its commercial strategy, build the company's commercial organization, and expand partnerships across the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Previously, he held leadership roles at Unchained Labs, Seer, SomaLogic, Olink, and Bruker.
Cole holds a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan and began his career as a bench scientist before transitioning into commercial leadership.
