Occam’s Board Practice Continues to Flourish

Occam Global placed Josh Ofman, MD, as Chairman of the Board of EveryONE Medicines in July 2024. The company was founded with seed financing from Khosla Ventures, GV, and Third Rock Ventures to develop treatments tailored to individual patients with ultra-orphan diseases. 

 

Ofman is the President of GRAIL, a publicly-traded Illumina spinout backed by ARCH Venture Partners, Bezos Expeditions, Bill Gates, and Sutter Hill Ventures. He spent more than 15 years at Amgen, where he most recently held the role of Senior Vice President, Global Value, Access, and Policy. 

 

Josh holds a BA in history and philosophy of science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MD from theUniversity of California, Irvine, School of Medicine.
