Occam Recruits Sanjeev Luther as President and CEO of Eterna Therapeutics
In December 2023, Occam recruited Sanjeev Luther as President and Chief Executive Officer of mRNA innovator Eterna Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: ERNA).
Luther is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with over 30 years of experience in leadership roles across public and private biotechnology and global pharmaceutical companies. He brings experience across varied therapeutic areas and a range of stages, from R&D to commercialization.
Most recently, he served as President, CEO, and Board Member of Cornerstone Pharmaceuticals, managing the development of the company's robust pipeline for rare cancers while securing a wide variety of strategic options, including partnerships, in-licensing, and out-licensing agreements.
Before Cornerstone, Mr. Luther led business-building and fundraising strategies for Fortune 500 corporations and start-ups in pharma, biotech, medical devices, and diagnostics, including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Novartis, Bausch and Lomb, and GE Healthcare.
