Occam Recruits CBO for Parisian Generative AI Drug Discovery Platform Company, Iktos
In January 2024, Occam recruited Avirup Bose, Ph.D., as Chief Business Officer of Iktos, a Paris-based biotech leveraging Artificial Intelligence for new drug design and an M Ventures investment.
Avirup previously served as VP of Business Development at Chinook Therapeutics (NASDAQ: KDNY), where he was instrumental in engineering many important strategic collaboration agreements. Chinook was acquired by Novartis in 2023. Prior to Chinook, Bose spent 17 years at Novartis, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in research, portfolio management, licensing, and business development.
