Occam Places Alex Dickinson as Board Member of Gencove
Gencove, a rapidly-growing private venture democratizing genome sequencing by making genomic information more accessible and interpretable through the development of molecular and computational tools, has appointed Alex Dickinson as the first independent Board member.
Dickinson brings deep commercial and technical experience in the genomics and molecular diagnostics industry, wisdom that will serve Gencove’s founding CEO well as he seeks to execute on the platform’s substantial potential in disrupting the sequencing market at scale.
Gencove, which was spun out of the New York Genome Center, recently raised a Series A round of $10M led by Lewis & Clark AgriFood with participation from Spero Ventures, Techammer, Third Kind Venture Capital, and Version One Ventures.
