In late 2019, Occam was hired by Atlas Venture to build a complete C-level leadership team around the company’s platform. One of our placements was Geoff McDonough, MD as CEO along with a CFO who later took the company public, raising $125M in the process. Previously, McDonough served as the CEO of Swedish biopharmaceutical, Sobi, following a lengthy tenure at Genzyme.
